necessities for WII game system?
I just bought a WII and dont know what all to get. there will be a 16 year old and a 10 year old playing it. What games are the best? what controllers will i need? It came with a sporting pack

- I don't own a Wii, but I want one. I think that you sill need a memory card.
- Well to start off with I would buy another controller and a nunchuck so that they both can play. As for game the best game out right now is The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess. Even the 10 year old will be able to play and enjoy this game. Also depending on what they like you could go with Excite Truck which is a racing game or Super Monkey Ball that they could both play together and have lots of fun at. Games I would avoid would be Red Steel which has poor gameplay and would be to graphic for a 10 year old and Trauma Center which is just a lousy excuse for a medical game. **to the poster above, there is no need for a memory card unless they plan on playing gamecube games and that would require a gamecube memory **card
- The sporting pack is good enough. Let's see...Excite Truck is one to get for the whole family. If the 10 year old likes Avatar then get him that. Just don't except it to be too much fun for everyone else. Super Monkey Ball is also one that should appeal to the whole family. For the 16 year old. Get him Twilight Princess, or Trauma Center Second Opinion. Both are rated T, but they are still amazingly great games. I can't recommend anything else since there aren't many great games out yet...
- you should get 2 wiimotes and 2 nunchucks. Also get twilight pricncess and tony hawks downhill jam also get madden 07 and CoD3.
- Well to start you off you would need another "Wii"mote, and another nunchuk. Then i would go with xcite truck that is a really good game. If you don't want to buy any other games though you can stick with the Wii sports that comes in the box with it. but that is about all you need. Some other good games are Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess and Rayman: Raving Rabbids. But if they are into sports you can get a fishing game!
