3. Ebay... http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=wii&category0= Several are going on Buy It Now for $400-500 or even less if its used or refurbished. If you do go used, get a Squaretrade Warranty.. cheap and worth it if it goes bust.
4. keep trying retail outlets online for the $250 base console. i was stupid enough to by one in september (i bought it for metroid prime 3) then sold it in november... i could have sold it for WAY much more than its worth...

6. E-bay. Go through the ads there and you can find "buy it nows" for roughly $400 and with a paypal account, have it shipped out immediately in time for christmas. If possible, try to buy from a "power seller", meaning one with a high feedback number and few, if any negative feedbacks. It is recommended you also actually read any negative feedback a seller has received to gain assurance regarding their reputation.
