Wii mod with an sd card?
Someone told me you can mod a wii to play backup games through an sd card. is this true?

- No, this is impossible. Games can only be read through the wii optical disc. Another example, would be a Xbox360 playing with the unique xbox360 disc. Or like the Nintendo DS, you need a r4ds or slot1 device. Games can only be played from the actual disc source, in this case a wii optimal disc. I have been told these are very hard to obtain and only nintendo will license them to other. So far, no one has been able to produce it. So in order to mod a wii, you must have a wii optimal disc and a way of imputting data onto it. You could also add feature and part, however I would not internal mod a wii because of all the wii system updates
