Do any of the Wii mod chips disable your Wii?
Also, what is the best chip today, (what options do the provide). Thanks.

- if you chip it and do a system update, you could stop it from working! i dont know what sort of chips r good tho cuz i dont believe in things like that!
- not that I know of but I've heard of some people who got wii updates after installing the chips and their backup games stopped working. I have a wiikey and it hasn't given me any problems. So thats the chip I suggest since it is the most common. The other key I know of is the cyclowiz.
- They all do. Once you update your Wii, it doesn't work again.
- Right now, I would highly avoid modding your Wii system. Any sort of system update you do on it after the chip is installed, will brick your system.
