should i mod my nintendo wii?
I'm not sure if i should mod my wii my friends tell me i should as its cheaper games but i mean i want it allm customised the outside and the actul wii itself what could happen if i did?? whiteandnerdy

- why mess with a good thing, the Wiis awesome in alone its self, and nintendo is paticular about their service and warranty
- Mods on games are gay. Especially on the Wii. What're you gonna mod? THe stupid controller...
- If you mod, you can play pirated games and download the .iso files and burn the games at home. But that's definitely illegal. It would also void your warranty.
- don't mod your Wii, you'll void your warranty. and your Wii won't be able to update. so it won't be able to play most Wii games.
- Really, you do not need to mod your wii. It is like what Alex said. If you want the wii to look different, a great choice is GamerGraffix. They only cost $10 and actually look pretty cool. Wii Mods are also expensive, and if it doesn't turn out the way you want...
- If you mod your Wii, then do a system update, it'll brick the system. So I'd avoid doing it.

- The fact that your asking means you're not an expert at modding. Unless you're an expert or rich you probably shouldn't untill you have faith that you can fix a Wii yourself.
