How do you set up a 2nd Wii remote on downloaded games?
Since they don't have the same menus as typical native Wii games I can't seem to figure out how to set up a second remote on downloaded games such as Super Mario Bros. for 2 player play. I've done what the 1st person suggested and is does not work. The 2nd person who answered doesn't understand. The main remote syncs up fine. I just want to know how to use a second remote. Syncing as he described would only reassign the main remote.

- Wait what? Are you using the classic controller, I can use both my wii remotes and it works, I think all you have to do is have two controllers on and that's all you'll need and for Super Mario Bros. I think you press the minus button to move the pointer from first to second.
- if you're having problems getting the 2nd wii remote to synch up, remove the battery cover. push the red button on the wii on the front and then pres the red button on each wii remote in order. once they're synched, you should be able to plug in the classic controller without any problems. if that deosn't work, go to the help section of nintendo.com for other ways to do it.
- if you have a classic controller you need 2 wii remotes but if you have 2 game cube controllers at the top of they system if you open it up there will be 4 game cube controller slots im not sure though because i have 1 remote MORE INFO IN CASE I DIDNT UNDER STAND but if you want to set up 2 wii remotes take off the battery slot on the wii remote you want to setup then you'll see a red button, on the wii console open the front slot and click the red button on your remote then the one on your console wait a few min. to conifrm it worked then you'll see one arrow says 2 hope this helped -ryan
