Do I have to stand up to play wii games or can I sit and relax?
I am thinking about buying a wii. I am wondering if I have to stand up to play games like Zelda, Metroid Prime or Ssx? I am just wondering because I always see people in the wii commercials standing up while they play.

- well they r commercials so they have to make it look like its fun i have a wii but it depends on what type of game u play for example if ur playing a really like exciting game and where u need to move around ur wii remote and nunchuk(the controller for left hand)like wii sports,i stand up when play tennis,if u just sit down and play its not fun cuz u just move ur controllers around but if u stand up it makes it more fun,u get what i mean?
- Of course you can sit. Some games may not respond to the controller as well if you are sitting because they require a lot of movement from the controller, but for the most part sitting works fine. Honestly though, most of the time I will start out sitting down when playing and end up standing up just because you get into it. I love the wii. We got it for our kids but we all find ourselves playing it. Oh and we have SSX and you can play it fine sitting.
