Nintendo Wii Mod Question?
I have just purchased a Nintendo Wii From Gamestop, And was wondering if it is able to be modded, the serial number starts as, LU3403, if anyone knows if it is possible to mod it, please let me know. Thanks

- i recommend that you DON'T DO ITif you ever want any updates or new software from Nintendo don't do it. (ie: games from wii shop , wiiWare, WiiChannels, or possibly new software to run new peripherals in the fufutre) then dont do it . every time the system get an update Nintendo also does a scan to see if you mod'ed your unit. If nintendo finds out that u illegaly modified ur wii THEY WILL BRICK YOU WII meaning they will lock out your system not allowing you to use any additional downlandable software ( and i think they might lock out your ability to play any game on a disk too, but i'm not sure) if you still choose to mod your system make sure u turn off the updates. personally, i wouldn't mod my system. get an emulator and a cable to hook up ur laptop/pc to ur tv...its much cheaper than a new wii... btw there are mods out there. just google wii mod chips. you should find a bunch
