Is it possible to connect a Nintendo Wii to a laptop with a LAN adapter to receive internet connection?
I have recently purchased a LAN adapter for the Nintendo Wii. It works, I have tried using it on a modem. My laptop operates with Windows Vista and has a wireless connection to the internet. Is it possible to connect the Wii to the laptop to receive internet?

- if you set up Internet Connection Sharing on your laptop, useing wireless adapter as the shared adapter, and then have the wii find the network (Click on your desktop, press F1 and look up Internet Connection Sharing for instructions.)
- Hold on. You have the Wii lan adapter, you have a laptop with wireless and you have a modem. The Wii has wireless built in. Go into the system settings and configure the wireless. Now, if you have somthing else in mind and you do for some reason want to connect your laptop to your wii, you will need a crossover cable and some serious hardcore software. (But it can prolly be done)
- if you share the same connection with ur laptop, then yes, but they both have to share the same wireless router
