What things do I need to buy if I want to have a second player on the Wii?
Ok, I am planning on buying a Wii. I know the machine already comes with one remote and the nutchuk thing. I am also getting the classic controller to play games in VC. But my question is, do I need to buy the remote, nutchuk, and classic controller for each additonal player to play with...?

- it depends on the games.most require just a Wiimote to play like wii sports tennis, baseball, bowling and so on.but other games like wii sports boxing need another wiimote and nunchuck to play.and also for most the virtual console games you can also use a gamecube controller to play.also if you wondering how much wiimote's and nunchucks a game can have.just read the back of the Wii game.
- Yes, you must buy at least the remote for each additional player. The nunchuk and/or classic controller is only required for each additional player if the games support them. Optionally, if you plan on playing virtual console games with others, you may be able to use a Nintendo Game Cube controller, but this can only be done for certain games.
- sports pack game that comes with wii u only need one controller for bowling, two for tennis, two for baseball , one for boxing only need one numchuck unless u r a numchuck game nut. classic controller only works on wii games that specify it game cube games can be played in wii with game cube controllers. u should buy rechargable aa bateries and a charger

- It depends on the games you purchase. The Wii brings: (1) Wii remote (1) Nunchuk You would have to purchase all the rest. In your case I would purchase the classic controller and any other wii remote you might need. Games like The legend of Zelda require the Wii remote + the nunchuk but most others (Super Paper Mario, Mario Party 8, Rayman, Wario Ware, etc..) only require the wii remote. Hope this clears your doubts!
