would you recommend getting the Wii game system?
im thinking of getting one to keep me entertained during the summer, i know they're not as new anymore, but what do you think about it? positives, negatives? also how much does it cost?

- I don't know ur personality so if u like to entertain or are very active into the Mario style games u should get it (I'm not and i got it so now I'm getting a ps3) Its cheap to so it will be worth it soon. If you like the system with graphics or shooting and racing games to play in your free time i recommend not getting it and get another system but the ps3 and xbox are more expensive but are better but the downside is u cant have much fun with a ps3 or xbox when u have friends over. - I got one earlier this month also for the summer. All the consoles are not that new anymore. It is so much fun. I am glued to it. It's fun and I'm 16. I chose the Wii over PS3 and 360. It's kind of like the game of the future.
- Yes you should definitely get a Wii. The Wii has a lot of games that can appeal to all ages and you can do all sorts of activities. You can play Wii games and Nintendo Gamecube games, you can create your own Mii which is a cartoon avatar person, you can play virtual console games like Super Mario Brothers and Star Fox 64 from the Wii Shop Channel, you can buy different channels from the Wii Shop Channel, and you can play games online by Wi-fi. The Wii costs $249.99 plus tax and it's the cheapest out of the PS3 and Xbox 360 while still providing a lot of features. The best games to get are: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Super Mario Galaxy The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock Mario Kart Wii Wii Fit Okami
- We've just got a Wii (early Xmas present) and loving it. Get an extra controller & nunchuk, if there's two of you, and you can both play straight away if you get the Wii Sports package - tennis, bowling etc. They're still the most inovative console system going in my opinion. It's the first console I've bought since the original Atari many years ago. Until now I've relied on PC's for my gaming. Cost depends where you live, I live in Turkey and had to go to Greece to buy one!

- ya wii's are really fun i got mine at christmas and i allways play it . plus if you connect your wii to the internet you can get new "channels" like everybody votes which is like a poll thing and "check me out channel" where you can create a mii for specific catagory and vote and stuff
- I love my Wii so do my kids. the cost is $249.99 in the USA which is less then the rest of the others. it has a bunch of great games, it supports games from the Gamecube and has the ability to download games also.
