Wii vs. Other Consoles. Why do people refuse to see the truth right in front of their face?

I have friends who constantly argue that PS3 or 360 is so much better than the Wii. And yet every single time I'm in a video game store or walmart, there are about 5 or 6 ps3 and 360 consoles for sale, and Wii's are completely sold out.

3. It's just opinions. Some people like the PS3 and Xbox 360 better. Some people like the Wii better. It's all about opinions. Many people like the Wii more because of it's gaming experience. Some people like the Xbox 360 and PS3 more because they are like supercomputers and have better graphics.

5. Wii wants to sell games to people who have never play games or for people who are not hardcore gamers. The Xbox 360 and PS3 are appealing to hardcore gamers with their titles halo, GTA, and Final Fantasy, and Wii uses games like wii fit, wii sports, and a bunch of party games but wii still has hardcore games like okami, legend of zelda, and mario.
6. That's really not a measure of a console. Sales are important, but games are what truely define it. Right Now, the Wii's overall library is filled with crappy shovelware, but the gems that have risen, such as Super mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Boom Blox, Super Paper Mario, and The Legend of Zelda : Twilight Princess, are amongst the greatest of this console generation, if not the greatest in the history of gaming.
7. rofl yeah I know. It's because the 360 is just a mid-range PC that can barely do anything and that costs twice as much to play. And PS3 has crap exclusives and who gives a rat's ass about Blu Ray, lol. The Wii is the only actual original console that offers something that can't be done better on a PC. It has the best exclusives as well, it's cheap, costs nothing in hydro, looks the sexiest, and is aimed at the average guy and girl who have real-life friends to play their games with. And to the guy below: please get an education. The 360 runs most games at a much lower framerate than the Wii does -- fact. First-party Wii games run at a consistent 60 frames per second; a framerate almost UNMATCHED by the 360.
8. You want to hear that your Wii is better than the competitors, thereby validating your choice. Fine, your Wii is the most awesome awesomeness of all awesome game consoles. There. Now that said, the 'other two' have remarkably better horsepower, able to deliver graphics and framerate that the Wii will never match. On the other hand, your console involves a revolutionary gameplay that even grandma can get ahold of without much trouble. That's a cool thing! Just enjoy it for what it is: an innovative, different gaming platform that you prefer over the other two. You won't get the latest GTA on the Wii, because it's just unable to support that. You can, however, have a blast waving it at your TV and bowling a strike. Congrats! You're having fun. Enjoy it and don't stress over what other people are doing.
9. Because alot of people think graphics make a game, I have friends that are 360 fanboys and all they say is how the 360 has better graphics than the Wii, whi gives a rats xxx, the gameplay makes the game.

"hillbilly laugh" can't you see? its because wiis are so damn cheap that everyone person who is like a freaking hillbilly hick or illegal can afford this with no problem. god yahoo users are getting more dumb every year. your friends are really smart for getting those. Plus I have all three machines and I regret getting the wii its not fun after a while. And the graphics stink. And the memory stinks. It stinks all together.
11. i no but the only reason i think everyone likes those systems is because like there the popular ones. Basicly its like those systems are a trend and wii isent like them and not every one has a wii so,e more people want them. But if u really think or it exbox 360 n ps3 are like the same and make the same exact games atlest with wii you get something new. But im also not saying those systems are bad because they do come out with some great games like GTA.
12. The Wii is priced so that many people who can afford the ps3 or 360 also own the Wii. The Wii makes a great second console, it doesn't mean it makes a better primary or only console. Our Wii gets used more then teh 360 but only gets used more then the ps3 when we have parties. The ps3 is our primary console and the others well they are just there. The Wii does make a great primary console for those who have younger families, or even a grandparent living in the home. It is great fun. But to say any system is the best based on sales numbers alone is a very shaky argument with little more then a fad sense of what is better and actually demeans the Wii. The Wii is what it is. A great console for the casual gamer, or family gamers, but for people who live for games and graphics it's just not it.
13. It depends PS3 is good but the 360 is out already I have met not a single person who thinks they can compare it to the wii. PS3 you can compare the only reason people argue about it more is because it has BLURAY which costs $330 and the graphics. So bluray is why PS3 costs more but the Wii is a next generation the only people that don't like Wii are always tired.
