- The channels are wii proprietary, so no to those. The virtual console games are easily loaded on to the wii. Contrary to what the other answerers have said, that is against what Nintendo likes, but NOT illegal if you own the originals.

You need your Wii to be modified with a mod-chip before you play burned games or movies and music etc. Of course it can play any game of your own, and any movie as you wish after you get your Wii mod-chip installed! All you need is to join one of those sites to download so many resources. So you can download all those media as you wish! And some sites can provide simple software help you to burn the ISO Games into DVDs, it is very easy and fast. After the instructions by them, you can go ahead to play those games you burned onto your Wii. - Hi Brandon The way people used to do this is with torrent sites, however if you are downloading games and material that you do not already own then you may get into trouble! There are membership sites however that you have to pay a fee for but they give you full tutorials on how to do this and also provide you with loads of downloads like channels and games.
