  1. You should purchase one nunchak for each remote you purchase. That is all you will need (besides games of course).
  2. The wii comes with one set of remote and nunchaku. You should buy an extra pair for each of your children. Among other things you should consider: Component cables if you plan on hooking it up to an HDTV Some games so your kids can play (wii sports wont keep them entertained forever) Wii points/classic controller if you want to download wiiware or virtual console games A router if you do not have a preexisting wireless internet connection. Of course, none of those are necessary to get started, but are things you should consider.
  3. You probably need games but i think when you buy the wii it comes with wii play. If you have2 kids you might want to buy another nunchuck and a wiimote
  4. i would rec amend a Usb fan for the back of the console! *you can get a free "jacket" or 4, on "nintendo wii.com" (i do mean free) * 1 or 2 remotes and "neko wireless nun-chuck" * "neko hand gun" ( use a wire coat hanger to push the A Button) * a really cool wii cover
  5. just games to play!
  6. Best thing I ever bought for the Wii was a Rechargeable battery kit. Nothing is worse than buying AA batteries every few days. I got the 3rd party one that comes with a cradle that fits two remotes. Works great. In fact, I got the Wii from a co worker who didn't want it anymore and when I went to the game store to see what I should get with it the only thing they recommended was the recharge kit. (note: the source is just to show you what it looks like and what it's all about. I DID NOT buy from that site and can't vouch for them. I picked mine up in person.)
  7. you should probably buy an extra wiimote and a nunchuk the console comes with one pair
  8. you do not need a nuncuck for every game but for most you do
  9. All the basic things you need comes with it. http://www.instockonline.org http://www.refreshthing.com/
  10. the wii come with one wii remote and nunchuck and the game wii sports. I would buy at least one other remote and nunchuck so two of your kids can play at once. other things to consider: rechargeable batteries (either straight up rechargeable or the kind specially made for wii remotes) more games, some fun multiplayer games include Mario Kart, Mario Party, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, Wii Decasports, or Super Smash Bros Brawl
