Wii Help

Should I buy a Wii or wait for something better?

Just wondering I should buy a Wii, or if anyone knows of other things on the horizon that I should wait for. From what I know, the Wii is the only one of it's kind as far as control, but it's not the best on graphics. I just figured Sony or Xbox would be working on something to compete better with the Wii functionality. I know PS3 and Xbox 360 have awesome graphics, but I'm definitely looking for the Wii control style for my kids. Thanks!

You should get a wii it gets the most games and the funniest its also for hardcore and casual gamers.The graphics are getting better but it will never be as good as xbox 360 and ps3 in terms of graphics.But in the eye it would look the same. I don't see why get a ps3 or xbox 360.The sixaxis isn't really as good like the wii's controller.And more than half the games use motino controller while ps3 only few do.
2. Actually the PS3 offers motion control but it is more effectively used. The Accelerometers in the Wii are jerky and overly sensitive, and the only fix is to buy other parts. The PS3 uses motion to control small aspects of the game such as mini games. The Wii is a gimmick, just like Tickle Me Elmo (which is in my clearance right now by the way)
3. You should either get a ps3 or xbox 360 or maybe a gaming computer. Wii is good and fun, but the graphics not that good. ps3 has so many things you can do with besides games. You can watch blue-ray movies, chat online, play games online with people, photos, music, videos etc..... If you don't mind i think you should get a computer for your kids because computers can do tons of things. For answering your question i think ps3 would be a better choice other than buying a computer. To me my opion i think it's better to save up money to buy a very good gaming computer, but if you wish to buy it now ps3 would be good value for the money.

5. its a fun game and graphics dont mean nothing its the gameplay the game play its the thing u should look for if the graphic is good u will like how it look but wont have fun playing the game
6. Hi there it's depends in what you want in a consoles are you a gamer, do you like graphics do you like game play. I had a wii for christmas but tbh i didn't like it the graphics suck the gameplay's good but it is mostly used for families. I then went out and brought a xbox 360 and i was amaze by how good it was, good game play, good graphics everything was good. take the advice get a xbox 360. hope my advice helped ricky
7. dont get one yet and save up and then when call of duty 5 comes out then get one
8. yes you should buy the wii because A.) the games are quite accetable and there are a LOT of games for kids (3,4-16) B.) you can always play your GC games, and C.) there's this wii shop store where you can get virtual consoles (old games for the N64, SNES,NES, and Genisis but they cost points) (if you dont know about points dont worry they'll tell you about it) yes i really recommend it BUT the wii remote when you use it to much or mess around with it when you start pointing it at the screen it will either shake to much or the cursor automatically pulls all the way to the corner of the screen (i'm pretty sure nintendo designed that because kids(well some ) tend to play video games to much so they designed it to get in the way so kids could go and do they're hw,etc.)
