To anyone who has or has played a WII gaming system?
I've never played it but am considering buying it. Is it worth it? Is it fun? Reviews, please!

- Its totally worth it, its more fun with other people to paly with though, so if its just you, you might wanna concider another system
- I own one and i love it! Its so fun and interactive since most games, you play as if you're in the game (eg, swinging a bat to play baseball etc). If you're not a traditional gamer thats into great graphics and stuff, this is for you! Although the graphics aren't great and has limited online play and no blu ray player, its good enough for casual players like me! Plus, they have great Mario series game like mario galaxy and paper mario, i'd definitely buy one if i were you!
- I found that my hardcore gamer fans, the ones who spend hours playing games and their systems, prefer Xbox 360 and PS2/3 systems. They say that playing the Wii is 'tiring' for long periods of time. However, I play about two hours of games per day, if that, and I absolutely LOVE my Wii. Most games require lot of movement on your part, and it helps me get an extra workout in the day. Other online features on it are awesome too - I have a web browser I can use (I watch Youtube videos with my Wii), I've downloaded some old games from the older nintendo and sega systems, I can check the news and weather all around the world, I can take national and worldwide polls, and even keep my photos on it! Despite all the games coming out, I enjoy the Wii Sports game the most - it came with our Wii system. It's one game that you can play obsessantly and truly not get tired of it.
- The Wii system is alot of fun. I enjoy playing it because it isn't your typical gaming system where you are sitting on the couch with the controller, you are really involved. We enjoy playing bowling and baseball. My muscles in my arms were sore a couple of days after I played it,but all in all I think it is worth it. Happy Holidays!!!!
- the wii is great, and i consider my self a realitivly hardcore gamer. yesterday i played super mario galexy for 4 hours. so unless you are playing a physically tireing game, it is fine.
- I personally don't like the wii system. The first time I played it at a friends house i thought it was the coolest thing every, but after a while it becomes kind of stupid. It's pretty much made for little kids or mentally retarded people, just swinging the remote like an idiot to a manuever. It's also limits the capabilities for depth in controlling for many games. So unless you're 5-13 I highly suggest you don't get it, I have a ps3 and xbox 360 and anyone of those is a much better buy than the wii, there's a reason they're more expensive than it too.
- hell ya its da bomb its fun, entertaining, interactive and its excersise
- I'm very happy with my Wii. I'm a pretty hardcore gamer, and there are definitely enough quality games on the Wii to keep me satisfied. The graphics (on games that were originally created for the Wii, not Gamecube ports like Twilight Princess) are noticeably better than Gamecube games. The Wii has high definition and widescreen capabilities, but you need to buy the HD cables for the Wii. I've played quite a few Wii games, and the only one so far that I haven't liked is Sonic and the Secret Rings. Everything else is innovative and fun. I can't get enough of my Wii. I wouldn't trade it for anything else on the market right now. People say that the Wii isn't "hardcore" because of the motion controls, but I think that the motion controls immerse you further into the gaming experience. I feel much more accomplished when I swing the Wiimote to kill enemies than I do when I just press some buttons.

- I love it. Wii sports is a great game that you get when you buy it that is hours of fun. If you are looking for gaphics the wii is not the system for you though. If you want " more adult" games you would not want the wii. But if you want fun for you, your family and your friends the wii is what you want. There are many great games with even better ones to come out in the upcomming months. I play it when ever i get the chance to. The online wifi connection is free unlike the xbox. The wii remote offers a new way to play games that other systems have not used. I think it is very fun with very great games.
