Can anyone tell me if a jap wii works with english wii games?
I have seen one for sale - brand new - but it is japanese - will it be able to be used in the uk? what will i need to buy extra - if anything - to make it work?

- No. Not unless you get the console chipped.
- Japanese wii cannot play English wii games and English wii can not play jap games. You can chip it, except it can cause malfunction of the wii, and Nintendo will not support you if it does.
- no if u do want to but the japanise 1 u will have to get the wii chipped
- i guess it no then with the answers above i think the wii's will be here soon again. if you did get jap one you could always just buy jap games for it. http://track.webgains.com/click.html?wgcampaignid=24331&wgprogramid=231 i dont know if it works with are telly's though.
