Wii Points? And the Catalog?
I want to know more about them. 1. Do you have to pay for the points or do you earn them some way? 2. Do they have any pokemon games in the classic games for sale? 3. Can you kind of explain it to me?

- Are you talking about the Wii points and the Classic Games in the Virtual Console? If you then here is how to can get Wii points: You can either buy a Prepaid Card which is a card you buy from a store which usually has 2000 Wii points. You can Buy them With a Credit Card but only Visa and Master Card. If you use the Card to buy it you can choose either 1000,2000,3000,4000, and 5000 points. The 1000 is $10, the 2000 is $20, the 3000 is $30, the 4000 is $40 and the 5000 is $50. No they do not have Pokemon games at the moment but I'm sure they will soon. -wiiplay_ds
- 1. You can pay for points by paying on a credit card. You can get a Wii points card at your local video game store or a place that sells video games (walmart, target etc). 2. They don't yet but I bet you they'll add Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 for the N64. 3. Ok each 100 points equals $1.00. Usally Wii point cards have 2000 points on them (that equals $20.00) which is great! They have the nintendo systems NES,Super NES, N64 and more consles. Once you get it you can copy the game to a Wii memory card and go to your friend's house and copy the game to his wii so he has it. If you delete it you can still redownload it at the Wii shop channel as much as you want and free of charge.
- 1. you must buy them either in a store on a wii points card or with a credit card through the wii system (and there might be a way to earn them in the future) 2. not currently, but there will be at some point, probably red, blue, gold silver, stadium ect 3. you get points by buying them(currently) then you go to the menu, there is a games section and a channel section, the channel section is where you buy updates such as an internet browser for your wii and the games section sells retro games from n64 back, when you choose games, you select either alphabetic display or by system, if you choose alphabetic, all you need to do is find the game and purchase, but if you select system, a menu will come up saying n64, classic nintendo, sega genesis and many others, you choose 1, then it gives you a list of games that are currently available that were released for the selected system, when you a game, it will then be available to you on the wii main menu
- 1. Wii points are the equivalent of cash. If you want Wii points, you have to buy them. It's 2000 Wii points for 20 bucks or a penny a point. 2. There are no Pokemon games in the virtual console as of early last week. That's the last time I checked. 3. Let's say you want Golden Axe on the Virtual Console, and it costs 500 points, so you buy your Wii card or Wii points, then you go to the Wii Shopping channel and spend your 500 Wii points to download the game. After you download the game, you can play it. If you have X-Box Live, the Virtual Console is basically the same thing as the XBL Arcade.
- 1. There are multiple way you can get points, but you can't really earn them (yet), the way their point system goes, it's not too long until you can earn a points from forums and stuff (don't know if it will happen, but the system is there, it is possible) To get them now you ca either... A. use a credit card B. go to a store and buy the Wii points C. Sign up to gaminglagoon at http://www.gaminglagoon.com/?ref=27540 (the only way to get them free so far) 2. There are no Pokémon games in VC yet, but VC is still in it's infancy, Pokémon games are due to come out sometime soon 3. What you do is, it matters how you start in step 1 A. Go to the add more Wii Points, select credit card, insert CC number and 3 digit security number (I think), keep clicking continue and finally yes at the end, the yes option will be on the left side of the screen where cancel usually is, so be careful or you may go continue~~~No, and you will lose your points and you will have to do it again B. Go to your favroite electronics store or a site like amazon.com, buy your Wii Points Card, cut plastic and get to card, scratch the scratch off area, go to add Wii Points on the Wii, select Redeem Points Card, put in code on back of card, click continue where required, at the end, make sure to click on Yes that is on the left side of the screen C. Sign up for the site (using the given link), do offers, give referral links to friends, family, and randomly leave your referral code places, get enough points for a Wii Points Card, wait for shipping (all free), get Wii Points Card, cut plastic to get to card, scratch the scratch off area, go to add Wii Points on the Wii, select Redeem Points Card, put in code on back of card, click continue where required, at the end, make sure to click on Yes that is on the left side of the screen A pretty straitforward process for all 3, after you have your Wii Points, click on Virtual Console, select console (NES,SNES,N64, SEGA, TurboGrafx16), select game, select download, wait for download, exit to Wii Channel Menu (main menu), look for the game you downloaded, click on the game, click continue, the game will launch and you are ready to play
