Can you return a Wii video game if you dont like it?
I just bought a Nintendo Wii yesterday. I got the Wii Sports with it and the Wii Play. Today, I bought Super Mario Party 8, b/c a worker at Best Buy said it was a lot of fun. However, I just spent an hour playing. I cant say it was boring... but it just seemed kinda blah. Playing alone had me sitting and watching as the computer played for the other characters. And it was more about luck, rather than skill. SO.... if I saved my receipt and bring it back to the store tomorrow, will they take it back? Or is there some rule for returning video games? I am new to all of this! Ok So I tried returning it last night to Best Buy and nope, they wouldnt take it since it was opened. So, I traded it in at Game Stop for 25 bucks (half of what I paid) which kinda sucked. But I got Sonic and Mario at The Olympic Games. So I paid the difference for that (which works out to be the same I originally paid for Mario Party 8). And let me tell you... it is SOOOOOO much better!! I only played for a bit.... but I kicked butt in fencing. :-)

BEST BUY .. u cannot return it... there is a rule that when u open and play it .. u cannot return it.. the only thing u can do is sell it in gamestop.. but ull get to sell it for like only a little..! extremely a little.. or if u have like 2 games u can switch it for 1 old game......wii has lots of good games though
- Best Buy should take it back. I don't really know, but if it's within 30 days, you should be fine. If not, contact Nintendo, say you're dissatisfied with the game and demand a refund. If that doesn't work either, you can always sue someone........

- yeah, just say if they ask you, that it didnt live up to your expectations ... lol or something like that
- Just say it "wasn't working" and you think its defective.
- You might want to call them and ask what their return policy is. I know that Gamestop will take any game back if you return it within 7 days, no questions asked. I feel your pain; Mario Party 8 is boring as hell if you don't have at least two other people to play it with.
