Nintendo Wii??
About 3 months ago, I bought a nintendo wii in singapore, asia. We got the wii sports game free. When we came back to ireland, it was working fine. Just today however, I bought the first game in ireland, only to see its not working!!! tryed a few other peoples games as well - same situation!!! After the guy i bought it from said thee would be absolutely no problem. ---i guess you cant trust them. Anyway, do you know of anyway i can get this to work here?? is there a wire, or does it need to be modified or something??? Any help appreciated!!!! How do i modify it???

- The wii is region locked so you can't play games from other regions. Wii sports worked becasue it came with it so it was the same region. You could mod it but it is not recommended becasue it makes your warrenty invalid.
- Now your forced to order games online from that reigon, or be sneaky and pawn it and buy a new one, or pull the old switch-eroo... pretty much the only nice thing you can do is order games online and play those. but as a bonus, most games from that reigon come out before the ones in yours.
- The wii is region locked, so only singapore games will work on it. You can always mod it. That way, you can play any wii game on the market. A good chip to mod Wiis is WiiKey. If you dont know how to install the chip, you can ask the guy that sold it to you to install it. The price wont go much higher than without the installation. In eBay, some people that sell WiiKeys can go to your house and install them themselves, but I dont recommend it because you have to pay their flight to your city. So ask the guy at the store. But whatever you do, NEVER go to a Nintendo store and ask for a chip, and NEVER EVER ask them to install one that you already have. Wii mods are supposedly illegal, so you shouldnt ask them for help. I guess the most legal choice would be to order games from singapore. In case you dont want to put anything weird inside your wii (like me).
