Wii console???
does a Wii have online multiplayer? If so, what is the cost of it?

- Nintendo and their developers have not really focused on this. There is not an online gaming community per se like you see on the Xbox 360 and PS3. There are only 2-3 games that you can play online right now. Pokemon Revolution and Mario Strikers are the ones to come to mind. This is all free assuming you have a wireless router and broadband connection. If you don't, then it will cost you $40 for a wired adapter. The Wii has a built-in wi-fi adapter.
- THe person who answered this before me is 99 percent wrong. Their are four games that go online and they are Mario Strikers, Pokemon Revolution, Madden 08 and live 08. The Wii has an online multiplayer community. As a matter of fact, some of the games, if not all, have frends list so you kno wen others are playin. All you need is a wifi setup in your home bcause it is free to play online.
