Guitar Hero wii?!?
Okay, I am a teenage girl, and I am not really in to rock-n-roll...but my cousin has guitar hero 2 for ps2 and I loved that game, I am thinking about getting it for wii, but I was wondering if the music is alot different from the other ones, cause I don't want to listen to crappy music, or whatnot. Also what do you do with the nunchuck? Thanks!!!

- The nunchuck isnt used...You simply put the wii-mote in the guitar and play!
- The songs are way better for the third one in my opinion and the nunchuck isn't needed for this game.
- Wii only has Guitar hero 3. It's the same type of music and everything like GH2. It's about 90 dollars and it comes with the guitar. You place the just wiimote into the back of the controller and close it up and you can start playing.
- The bottom line is Guitar Hero for the Wii is awesome. If you liked your cousin's PS2 version....you will love Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii. You do not need the nunchuck, only the Wiimote, which you will insert into the guitar....basically making it wireless. Most people that pick it up are hooked from the beginning. Even those that do not consider themselves musically inclined. Go for it...you will love it.
- If you liked any of the Guitar Hero games, you will love the third one. It's inherently wireless b/c of the Wii-mote. And if you want to know about song selection, go to Wikipedia and look at the song listings. Among the artists included in GH3 are AFI, The Killers, Dragonforce, Rage Against The Machine, ZZ Top, Lacuna Coil and many others.
- First off, I hope you get the game, and become acquainted with real Rock-n-Roll. The world popualtion of RocknRoll girls has dwindled. The wiimote plugs directly into the guitar. The face of the wiimote is still accessible, but not used during the playing of the game. The Nunchuck is not used, as the plug is used to connect the guitar. There are several songs sung by women on the game, and there are a few female characters to choose to play with in the game, as well. Here is the songlist for GH3 Same Old Song and Dance (by Aerosmith) Helicopter (by Bloc Party) Stricken (by Disturbed) Monsters (by Matchbook Romance) Before I Forget (by Slipknot) Kool Thing (by Sonic Youth) When You Were Young (by The Killers) Devil Went Down to Georgia (as made famous by Charlie Daniels Band) Sunshine of Your Love (as made famous by Cream) Holiday in Cambodia (as made famous by Dead Kennedys) Cliffs of Dover (as made famous by Eric Johnson) Hit Me with Your Best Shot (as made famous by Pat Benetar) Black Magic Woman (as made famous by Santana) Story of My Life (as made famous by Social Distortion) Pride and Joy (as made famous by Stevie Ray Vaughn) The Seeker (as made famous by The Who) Black Sunshine (as made famous by White Zombie) Miss Murder (by AFI) Minus Celsius (by Backyard Babies) Sabotage (by Beastie Boys) Hier Kommt Alex (by Die Toten Hosen) Through Fire and Flames (by Dragonforce) In the Belly of a Shark (by Gallows) Welcome to The Jungle (by Guns N’ Roses) Avalancha (by Heroes Del Silencio) Take This Life (by In Flames) Number of the Beast (by Iron Maiden) Ruby (by Kaiser Chiefs) Closer (by Lacuna Coil) Cult of Personality (by Living Colour) One (by Metallica) Knights of Cydonia (by Muse) Mauvais Garcon (by NAAST) Even Flow (by Pearl Jam) Lay Down (by Priestess) Bulls on Parade (by Rage Against The Machine) 3’s and 7’s (by Queens of the Stone Age) Suck My Kiss (by Red Hot Chili Peppers) Generation Rock (by Revolverheld) Raining Blood (by Slayer) Cherub Rock (by Smashing Pumpkins) Radio Song (by Superbus) The Metal (by Tenacious D) I’m in the Band (by The Hellacopters) Anarchy in the U.K. (by The Sex Pistols) Reptillia (by The Strokes) Paint It Black (by The Rolling Stones) My Name is Jonas (by Weezer) Slash’s Original Boss Battle Recording Tom Morello’s Original Boss Battle Recording Schools Out (as made famous by Alice Cooper) Paranoid (as made famous by Black Sabbath) Cities on Flame (as made famous by Blue Oyster Cult) Slow Ride (as made famous by Foghat) Barracuda (as made famous by Heart) Rock and Roll All Nite (as made famous by Kiss) Mississippi Queen (as made famous by Mountain) Rock You Like a Hurricane (as made famous by Scorpions) La Grange (as made famous by ZZ Top) I recently got the game for my birthday.
