Is "Guitar Hero" for Wii ok for age 5?
Cousin's children got Wii + "Guitar Hero" for Xmas, need to know if game is suitable for age 5 son b/c it says it is rated for scenes and lyrics.....

- Yeah it's fine for all ages. He might have some difficulty playing at first, but the subject matter is no way too mature, and he'll get the hang of it.
- do you listen to the radio? if yes then no problem.
- yeah but its prolly a little dificult for a five year oldd...it took me forever to get the hang of it and its still confusing...but if they can do it /...by all means let them

- Some of the songs, being "rock" and whatnot, may contain strong language... My biggest concern would actually be the difficulty of the game. At 21 I'm finding Easy difficulty ok, and Medium impossible. Though it is my first day playing! addition: also, would a 5 year old's hand be able to easily use the fret board? I'm suffering from what feels like RSI at the moment! *Very* addictive game, but not so nice on the hand muscles.

- There are heavy metal songs on there so there may be some swearing or talk about death etc Scenes would be like... goths and the grim reaper, and death and fake looking gore. It would be diffcult for a 5 year old to play so I personally would never recomend it
- Well, if your son watches TV and listens to the radio once in a while, he won't be exposed to more than what he has already seen and heard. If you're not sure, go to the toy store and play the game yourself for a few minutes (or watch a kid who's playing it), that way you'll be able to make a better judgment.
- Some songs have the word sh1t in them. the scenes are nothing to worry about.
- They lyrics are a bit much, plus the tutorial guy gets bleeped out a few times. Hope this helped. Your call mom
- yep, it's fine, if any of the songs swear, it's bleeped out in the game. the content is fine, some of the characters are kinda scary looking to a 5 year old, but they're not inappropriate. the only reason i can think of that a 5 year old wouldn't play is because it might be a bit difficult to get the hang of it, but that's all i can think of.
