Should I buy Wii? And do I need it?
Here is the reason why I want Wii" PROPS: 1) Use GameCubes games on Wii console. 2) Since I am a Resident Evil fan, I want to play RE4 & Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles. 3) The Wii controllers is awesome! 4) $250! 5) Wii has tons of titles games! CONS: 1)Wii games are mostly kids games then adults. 2)Some say that it is more fun to play Wii with friends or family instead playing buy yourself. 3)Wii does not support HD-DVD or Blu-Ray movies. Not even play CD. 4) Wii it is not HD console. Or should I buy PS3 instead?

- Actually to be honest I heard the Wii's suck. Get a PS3, I'm sure they have the same exact games as the Wii
- Nobody needs a Wii. Like any luxury, you buy it because you want it. So go get it. No point in wasting your time justifying.
- Well...it seems that most of your "CONS" have something to do with graphics. If you care more about graphics, get a PlayStation 3. If you want fun games, get the Nintendo Wii. Also, Here are the games that you should get: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Duh) Resident Evil 4 (Duh again) Super Mario Galaxy Super Smash Brothers Brawl Wii Sports (Hard not to get; Best "Game that comes with the system" in my opinion) EDIT: Oh my...I forgot to add Metroid Prime...(Shoots head)
- Then I would hold off, as Sony's NEW PS3 will have an 80GB drive, and see if they clean up the glitches
- nobody NEEDS a gaming system but the wii would be the best choice. it doesnt have the best graphics but the games are amazing even wii sports is soooo much fun. plus they are coming out w/ some awesome games within the next year.
- well most of the stuff you are talkin about are graphics and stuff and if that is what you want then get a ps3. but i would say get a wii. bright sides of the cons: 1)they are kids games, but they r fun. 2)its fun with both 3)no bright sides (dosent play regular dvd's either) 4)its a good console though! SO GO GET GET THE DARN WII!
- GET THE WII. you will love it. it is fun to play by yourself and now there are kid games but they are making more mature games while sony is make more kid games. it is strictly for games and internet. the PS3 is too new rite now and not all of the bugs are worked out. the wii only has a few minor ones. as the games come out they will become better grafics. I would buy the WII.
- NOOO!!!! dont buy a ps3! ps3's are a HUGE waste of money. also, the wii is coming out with a new wii soon that will play cd's and dvd's. im not sure when it comes out though. i would buy a wii but if you dont buy an xbox 360! PS3's SUCK!! the ps2 was great but the ps3 is a p.o.s.
- Certain Wii software will support a 480p (progressive) picture, which displays at a higher resolution than the standard 480i (interlaced) resolution. Please note that you must have the Wii Component Video Cables, and your TV must support 480p in order to enable it. Point at the screen ration you would like to display the image in and press the A Button. Point on the "Confirm" button and press the A Button to set the position.

- i'm answering this from my wii. first of all you might as well mark out $250 from your list there is a wii shortrage and you'll have to pay at least $100 more for a new one.The ps3 is REALLY easy to find and is now $500 for the 60 GB console,but the 80GB is coming to the US blundled with a game for $600 and many people think that it will replace the 60gb in a few months.What does this mean?in a few months there will be one ps3 and it will cost $600 ,but it will come with a game and more memory so people will get more for their money. many including me think the wii is just plain fuming even with its lack of features,but if you want a console pack with things like playstation home.[look it up ] and want see blu - ray movies then get the ps3. by the way the sony blu ray dvd player cost the same as the ps3.
