guitar hero 3 wii is not working?

K, i got a wii and guitar hero 3 for it, but sometimes when im playing, it just just freeze and make this really loud and annoying noise and it freezes the whole system. Any advice on what to do?

1. Get an xbox 360. They rock.
2. try doing a wii system update, if the problem persists you should call nintendo. My brother's wii had some of the same symptoms, and eventually, it couldn't even read discs. The problem might also be with your game disc, try taking it back to where you bought it from.
3. dude, its the game, not the system. i had a problem like this previously with my splinter cell game, but not with any others, so i looked up this problem on nintendo's web page, and it said what i just told u. so u should try to clean the disc, and if that doesn't work, then exchange it for a new one. ps. don't get a freakin 360, it will just overheat and crap out on u and have a hardware failure. microsoft is to lazy to fix this problem.
