Whammy Bar on Guitar Hero 3 Wii Not Working!?
Ok, i got guitar hero 3 for Wii at christmas, the first time i played, everything worked great. Second time, everything BUT the whammy bar worked! Is there something I can do to fix it?

- You were most likely holding the whammy bar down accidentally when you put the wii remote into the guitar. Make sure when you start the game that the whammy bar is not being pushed down, for example if you set it on your lap when you put the remote in. Make sure it is fully extended or it gets calibrated in the lowest possible position so it won't work. If that doesn't work, take the neck of the guitar off and blow into both connector pieces... dust has been known to get inside and make buttons or the whammy bar not work too. But I am 99% sure your problem is pressing down the whammy bar while starting up.

You probably have an older WII like myself that has never been hooked up to the internet. I went to Wal-Mart and bought a WI FI adaptor that plugs into the home computer and was able to get the updates for the system. (It took about 15 minutes and plugs into a USB port). After that, the whammy bar worked correctly. The adaptor only cost about $35 and really works well. My computer is upstairs and the WII and TV are downstairs and I still have a strong signal! I hope this helps some of you wanna be rockers out!
