Why do Wii games get such bad reviews? I really want to buy a Nintendo Wii someday soon, but I'm really shocked that almost every game that comes out for the Wii gets very bad reviews on sites like gamespot.com. It seems like the only games that do well are Nintendo/Mario themed games.......why aren't there better games coming out for this console? With the innovative controls, there should be tons of fantastic sports games out for this machine already.....boxing, baseball, bowling...more so than just what's offered with Wii Sports. I'm getting hesistant on buying the system now especially if game developers aren't going to give it the proper support.

wii games? Their are a few games for the wii that I have my eyes on. I don't think I can get all of them though. So I'll list them. Naruto clash of ninja revolution- I'm a naruto fan,but I heard theirs not enough charcters. madden 08- I like football and I think its fun with the wii. How come the Wii has so many games that get bad reviews? All of those games are casual, family-friendly games and developers are still making them. The Wii games that have gotten good reviews are RE4, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Brother Brawl, Metroid Prime 3 and The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. Do you think Nintendo would make a HD version of the Wii console? I would like to see these games on the Wii. Soul Calibar 4, Resident Evil 5 and all of those great games the are on the 360 and PS3 When will Sony cancel the PS2?

wii games review for this age..thanks!? My husband got me a Wii for xmas, and I want to get a game that both we can enjoy and my 3 year old can play with us. She has a DS, and she loves golf and bowling on the WII (she's good too!), so she knows how to use it, but I don't want anything too hard for her. I had my eye on Carnival Games, Toy Story Mania or Hasbro Family Game Night.. has anyone tried these? Worth getting? What are some Good Wii Games? My nephew finally convinced me to buy a Nintendo Wii. We are going to buy it this afternoon. Other than WiiPlay, what are some good games with good reviews and solid gameplay. I am in my 50's and WiiFit is already on our list for my mother (for her balance). Why does the Wii have the most games that gotten bad reviews? I think the reason is because developers aren't spending much time on it to make it a game. Most of the games that gotten bad reviews are family games and casual and despite that developers are still putting games out there and I just don't get it. The PS3 and 360 have games that gotten great reviews because their developers spend a lot of time on it to make the game a must have while the Wii developers aren't putting enough effort to their games a must have. Every game should be able to use the Classic controller like in wrestling games and football. I wish the Wii version of Madden and Wrestling were made by Wii only developers that want to make the Wii version a great game because EA, THQ and Midway spend all their time on the 360 and PS3 versions. Developers are making the Wii boring to play if you played for than a year. I like the Wii version of COD 5 and the new Tomb Raider game. The Wii needs a balance of games for the hardcore and family games and casual. 50% of games made for the Wii hardcore gamers and the other 50% are for casual and family friendly gamers and if Nintendo did that then everyone would be happy and no one would be undeserved

Wii reviews for older gamers? Most of the game reviews I've found seem to be targeting children. I know the Wii is for casual gamers and kids but many adults play them too. As a senior gamer I liked Wii sports, Resident Evil 4, and House of the dead 2 & 3. I hated Zelda although I liked previous Zelda games. This one has no action, too many cut scenes and a super annoying sidekick. SSBB is a button masher which I generally don't like. These two games got stellar reviews but I can't bear to play them. Can you Download Wii Games and has anyone tried? I have seen a multitude of sites saying download Wii games LEGALLY for either a initial fee or a fee per game, however I cannot find enough evidence in reviews so has anyone tried and if so does it work?
What are the current best Wii games? What are the best current Wii games? I know Sonic and the Secret Rings and Super Mario Strikers are good, not to mention Zelda, sheesh, they don't stop raving about that one, but what are games are good? All the others seem to get bad reviews. All the good ones like Super Smash Bros, Super Mario Galaxy, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, and Lego Star Wars Trilogy are all coming out later. Do you wish the Wii would have great games that would come out this year or next year if your a hardcore gamer? Most of the Wii games are too casual, family friendly and always a stripped down version of the 360 and PS3 version of games. I wish had Madden 2010 for the Wii would have great features like the 360 and Ps3 version. In Madden 09 all play the great feature is call your shots while the other features are too childish and to easy they don't try to make the Wii version just as great as the 360 and PS3 version. All play is making sports games too easy. I WISH NINTENDO WOULD MAKE A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT AT THE TOKYO GAME SHOW IN OCTOBER. On X-play they always talk the 360 and Ps3 and their games the DS has more games reviewed than the Wii. I wish the Wii was named the Revolution. Revolution is a better name than the Wii. Honestly I wish it was 2009

Which top-rated Wii games should I buy? Okay, so I'm not totally clueless. I got my Wii for Christmas, and with it I received Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Loved it. I also know how to read game reviews, which I have been doing. Only, it's a lot harder than I thought, when you don't really know if you'd like the game or not. I don't want to waste my money. I like games that are Zelda based, but when I tried finding reviews, there are so many to choose from! I was thinking Ocarina of Time...is this a good pair for TP? Anyways, does anyone know of the best games out there, the ones that got the BEST ratings, and are fun for girls? This means no football or movie-based franchise games. Some I had in mind were things like Mario games (there are tons), Zelda games, maybe The BIGS, and such. Are these good choices? Recommendations are welcome too. I wanted to get the Harry Potter game, but I read that it did mediocre. Can anyone tell me firsthand what it's like? Thanks. Oh, yeah, and when I said 'Zelda Based' I meant like, it's a version of Legend of Zelda. I also like Mario based, which is what you meant, but... Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, A Link to the Past. These three are the most interesting to me, and got the most decent ratings out of all the Zelda games. Hey can I use my pokemon from Pokemon Silver on Pokemon Battle Revolution for the Wii? Is it possible? Pokemon Battle Revolution is the newest game for the Wii. Alot of gamer reviews say that without your own type of pokemon to use it gets boring and its harder to beat other pokemon trainers online with wi-fi connection. I have pokemon from Pokemon Silver which is a gameboy color game. I don't have a nintendo ds, just gameboy advance sp, gameboy advance, gameboy color, and the traditional gameboy. Basically, what do I have to do to get my pokemon from Silver to the Wii game Pokemon Battle Revolution and what I may need to use them for wi-fi.

As a 18 year old Wii owner,When I watch X-Play I see is 360 news, PS3 news, 360 and Ps3 specials and I don't see or hear anything about Nintendo or the Wii, I don't see Wii specials or Wii hands on games. They talk about about falls biggest games and all of them are 360 and PS3 games. I feel like like X-play is for PC gamers, 360 gamers and PS3 gamers because all they talk about is games for those platforms. The Wii has the most sales but no one treats it with respect. TGS 08 was supposed be about Nintendo and it was not to be, it was about the 360 and PS3. The only great game that came out this year and got 5 out of 5 was Super Smash Brothers Brawl and i played and it was worth spending $50. Right now all you see in stores are lame, boring family friendly games and kiddy titles. I have Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Mario Kart Wii, Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, Residen Evil The Umbrella Chronicles and Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I played Madden on my Gamecube and it was great and Wii version of Madden has become too easy and too simple.The only great thing Nintendo announced was the DSI. Every year and month the 360 and PS3 have always great games while the Wii has boring childish games.What's the point of watching X-Play if all they talked about is games for the PC, 360 and PS3. Gametrailers TV does the same thing. I wish Madden 2010 on the Wii lose the name all play and lose those cartoony graphics and add some features that makes Madden on the Wii worth buying.There's a Wii versions Call of duty 5, Quanto of Solace and Spider-Man Web of Shadows but no one knows if they are going to be great because games are always stripped down and games that are stripped down always get bad reviews. If Wii HD was coming in 2011 then there will be less stripped down and the Wii would be a true next-gen console. The reason the Wii have more games that have bad reviews is the graphics. The Wii has the same graphics as the ps2. I wish every game game uses the classic controller because it would be great for fighting games and sports games. I'm really of this family friendly, casual and younger audience and those type of games are not even worth buying. I"m hoping that 2009 will great games for the Wii if not i might get a 360 or a PS3. How do you make good quality videos of a Wii game for Youtube? Recently I've made a Youtube account to make reviews for certain Wii games but the problem is that I don't know how to make good videos. Using a phone, camera or recorder isn't going to work well so is there a better alternative? Is there any program which transfers what you play on the Wii onto the computer?

On the Wii game, Super Smash Bros Brawl, the reviews aren't good for a single player. Will my 7 year old still want to play this game if he has to play it alone? Just got a wii & am looking for the best zombie/apocalypse games available. ? I liked the reviews of Left 4 Dead and Half-Life, but they aren't wii games. We aren't gamers and haven't had game consoles in the house, but once upon a time I could come home and slaughter monsters in Doom, so something like that would work, but we would like multi-player options and perhaps a bit more story line. No one knows if the next Need for Speed game on the Wii because the previous always suck because developers always try to make the 360 and PS3 but they do nothing to make the Wii version a must have and all developers always do that, they spend more time on the 360 and PS3 version but they are too lazy and too racist to make the Wii version a must buy and people like them should not be making a Wii version if they don't try to make it as one of the best Wii games ever. I wish developers spend more time on Wii games just like they do with the 360 and PS3, their only priority is to make the Wii version a bad game while they spend all of their time on the 360 and PS3 versions to make a game worth buying and it is not fair to Wii owners. The Wii has more sales and it is always sold out but if ask anyone in this country to decide which is the best next-gen console a lot of people would say the 360 or PS3. As Hardcore Wii gamers we feel that no one respect us and we are being undeserved. Wii Reviews? I've noticed a real wide scatter among all the reviewers for Wii games- moreso than any other console, I believe- can anyone tell me why this is? Some games get between a 4 and an 8! Nintendo Wii Games Reviews Which Include Activity Level? Hi I love playing nintendo wii its awesome :) Im interested in getting some more games but I only like those games that give you a good work out and which convert your motions into on-screen action eg wii sports, wii fit. I dont really like the arthritis inducing remote shaking ones if Im playing a tennis game I want to have to make a proper tennis serve etc. Rather than asking for individual recommendations does anyone know of any sites that include an activity intensity rating as standard when reviewing wii games like they would a rating for playability or graphics. Something like 1/10 just uses buttons, 3/10 have to shake remote, 5/10 have to make motion but will never make you break sweat ( eg wii golf). 7/10 possible to work up a sweat if you try hard enough (wii tennis), 9/10 likely to cause the unfit and chubby to collapse if played for too long (eg wii boxing or wii fit free run). Cant believe games review sites dont provide this as standard when reviewing Wii games. Ive wasted alot of money buying some pretty crappy games due to this already :_( and dont want the hassle of rental. Any links or advice would be great. Thanks
