Wii Fit Review, Is It A Good Buy? I’ve recently purchased a Wii console and I love it. I’ve heard a lot of great reviews about the game and would like some input. I’m looking for a fun and new way to exercise, and in my opinion Wii fit looks like fun. I won’t be able to purchase the game for awhile because it’s sold out everywhere around my town. In the meantime I’d really like to read what other people think about the game. Is it worth the money? Does it actually help you get fit/stay fit? Any input would be great, thanks.
wii fit review please?! (:? im having a bit of trouble fitting the gym into my scheduleee :( im working two jobs, and ive always been an active person, but its impossibleeee to make it to the gym 5 times a week like i used to ive heard the wii fit is actually a great alternative to get a gooddd workout at home do any one you have it?! is it really an intense workout? i dont want to waste my money, but im gonna go crazy if i dont find a way to make up for my missed workouts LOL thanks before hand!
My Wii fit review? I just got my Wii fit today! I am in excellent shape, i run every day, i do strength training 3 times a week ect, my Wii fit fitness age is 48.....lol.and im 31! I am not sure if it has anything to do with being on carpet, I am going to add the leg extentions and try it again. I played all the aerobics that are unlocked and did very well, the only complaint i have is that i jog too fast and it keep telling me to slow down! I did some strenghth training exrecises and did very well, i am afraid of yoga!.. i dunno why but i wont touch that!...lolthe balancing i suck at.....i bet i would fail a soberiety test, and i dont even drink :)) I think its a fun and silly way to get off your butt and get moving. I do think that if you do the cardio section long enough everyday and add some of the stregnth training and eat right, you will see some dramatic results!

EA Sports Active vs. Wii Fit Plus? i really don't know what to get. EA Sports Active makes you lose more weight (i read that from reviews) and Wii Fit Plus is more fun (reviews too) In wii fit plus, i also liked the BMI and the measuring your dog feature, and from the reviews on youtube, the games seem really fun. but with the EA Sports Active, i like the multiplayer and i really want to lose weight. it is also cheaper. The equipment is also not good, but at least it comes with something i guess. please help(:

wii fit and regular wii console???? Help Please! :) Ok, so I was playing the Wii at my relatives house the other day and I have really wanted one too. I saw the Wii Fit and found it interesting too. But, my question is... Are the Wii fit and Wii, two different consoles?? Or do you just buy the regular Wii and then Wii fit is just a game you buy for it?? Im very confused and if anybody could help that would be awesome. If you don't understand my question you can say so and I will put more details to fix it.. Also, any reviews of the Wii Fit?? Any Help Appreciated!! Thank You!!

Wii Fit Ski & Snowboard compared to Wii Family Ski and Snowboard? I really enjoyed the ski and snowboard section of wii fit. Is the experience much better in Wii Family Ski and snowboard? From the reviews I gather it can get boring after a while and maybe the game isn't as fast paced as it could be. How fast is it compared to wii fit sub games? Thanks
Anyone Who Has or Played Wii Fit? Okay my Mother has recently been Diagnosed with Diabetes. She is on medication to help her lose weight. Anyways My question is. Would Wii Fit be a good thing to help her exercise. She has a pinched nerve in her back which causes problems with walking long distances and being on her feet for long periods of time. I thought this would make a good birthday gift for her. Any Suggestions? Reviews? Or any information on this would be greatly appreciated. =)
The quality of the Wii Fit? Is the Wii Fit really worth it. Gimme some reviews and if it is worth it or worth buyin another Wii game or 360 game
Does anyone have Wii Fit in the Boston Area who wouldn't mind being in a YouTube video? I work for a boston based web productin company. Our videos receive anywhere from 20,000 views to 500,000 views. We are looking for people who have tried wii fit or have purchased the game for a video review of how well you actually get a workout. We know it works and is fun, but does it serve as a good means of exercise? Our video is destined to be hit. If you are in the boston area please contact me asap!!! We are trying to film a segment on the wii but they sold out everywhere! We are taking plan B and want to show off how it is or is NOT helping someone stay fit or lose weight. Check out our YouTube profile to see how popular we are - http://youtube.com/user/diethealth
a few questions about wii fit? I've heard from a few people who got Wii Fit for Christmas that it's simply awesome. One of them said she lost 3 lbs from using it already. I have to say, when it first came out I really didn't think it would be any good. I expected it to be expensive and not worth my time. So after hearing a few people rave about it at school, I decided to check out reviews online. I read an entire review, and the comments that followed it. Almost every person that commented seemed to have a good experience with it, and a few even told us how much weight they had lost. Still, there are a few articles that say it doesn't work. I actually went to an article and every other comment was from the author, bashing it because they believe that it's misleading people to believe that they've actually lost weight. The rest of the comments, however, were from people who own the game, and swear by it. NONE of the comments agreed with the author, and in the end, he/she couldn't take it anymore and disabled comments =\ So after all that useless information and blabbering on my part...on to my questions. 1. The obvious question: does it work? (I know that I won't lose weight by just using the Wii Fit alone) 2. Is there a weight limit for it? My friend and I both want to get into a healthier lifestyle and we talked about it last night. We want to make serious changes, and do it together. I'm overweight, but he's like...6'7'' and 300-something pounds. I know he'll want to be part of using it, but I'm afraid that this little white piece of plastic will break or something if I have him over to use it. While I don't want to be rude and tell him he can't use it, I also don't want to pay a couple hundred dollars for something and end up getting it broken by a friend. Call it immature, but I'm a selfish 17-year-old who works a seasonal job and doesn't earn much money. So I don't want to blow my money on something like this and have it ruined. This is my longest question yet. And if you've stuck it out to the end and read the whole thing, THANK YOU! and if you have some answers for me...please help!
wii fit? please help ? please help me i want to buy the wi fit as it has great reviews but im sooo confussed i went on ebay to try and grab a bargain but they come up as wii fit AND balance board i thought that the wii fit was the board thing, so do i need to buy 2 things? thank you x to balh, PISS OFF i got a c in english!
Why do people like the Wii Fit so much? My friend has the Wii Fit and she says "after one try you can see a difference". I highly doubt that. I don't see why people just go out and exercise instead of buy something you DON'T NEED! No matter how you put it it IS a video game. I was reading some review and someone said they waited in a line for 1 and a half hours to get it. If you can stand that long for a video game I think you don't really need the wii fit. Please tell me why people are crazy about it! Why can't you just do yoga at home, buy a hula hoop, actually dance instead of just stepping on and off a board, and run outside and not in front of your tv?
Thoughts on Wii Fit? I really want to get Wii Fit, but first I need some customer reviews. Was it worth your money? Is it fun?

Does a Wii fit help you lose weight? I've heard mixed reviews.. Has anyone used it and had any results??
We just ordered a WII fit online and we...? got a copy of the personal trainer (the new exercise video), but one review said that the board was not used. So what items do we need to buy to use it appropriatly? We ordered it online, so we couldn't acctually look at the box. Has anyone used this, any ideas or reviews on this product? Sorry, that is it, the my fittness coach.
nintendo wii fit - jillian michaels should i buy it? i am thinking about buying Wii Fit - Jillian Michaels new dvd. my dilemma is that i have read bad reviews about it from poor graphic quality to people stating there were very disappointed with the intesity of the workouts. i dont want to waste my money if it is really not worth getting - what do u guys out there think. can anybody suggest a great workout dvd for increasing fitness and losing weight - (only for nintendo wii) any feedback greatly appreciated....
I already have Wii Sports Resort, would it be a waste to buy Wii Fit Plus? I have played the first wii fit with some of my friends and thought it was really fun. I later bought Wii Sports Resort, and I play it NON-STOP! I have read reviews that talk about biking and stuff like that which are already on Wii Sports Resort. But, on the other hand, Wii Fit Plus, so I have hear, Has just tons of different exercises. So, would it be a waste of my money to buy Wii Fit Plus? Thank you!!!
Any info on the Wii Intec Action Board for Wii fit and other compatible games? I've been doing a little research on this board but can't seem to find a whole lot about it. A friend of my wife purchased Wii Fit with the game only not realizing she needed the board. She went on ahead and got Wii Fit with the board later. My wife really enjoyed it so when i figured I could purchase the board separately, her friend gave us her copy. I've been looking around on ebay and other sites trying to find a good deal. I would rather have the retail board but it seems most of the websites that have good deals on it all seem to be out of stock. I found the Intec board on ebay for $70 which is the best price I've seen so far but the only reviews I have seen for it have been on Wal-marts website. The reviews are not to good and it seems the reason is due to people not being able to connect it to the wii. I highly doubt they would make a board that is unusable so Im sure it can be done. So far I can't find any info on the actual quality of the board. Is there anyone who has purchased the board and if so, how did it fare? I know folks would probably say to just spend the extra bit and get the real deal but in this economy, when your the only provider in your household for a family of three, you gotta cut what you can here and there.
Should i buy a wii and wii fit plus after Christmas and all of the workout games for it to lose weight in 2010? I am wondering if it would be worth it to buy the wii system and the balance board, Wii fit plus and the biggest loser game. Maybe some more to go with it. I just wanted to get some reviews on it. I know i will have to eat healthy and that the game will not be the only effort i would need to put into losing weight. I just hope that i dont spend all this money on something like that and be a waste of money. I really need to lose this weight. Is it something you will get bored with easily and does it work? Thanks :)
how do YOU rate your wii fit? for those who have purchased the wii fit today, how would you rate your overall experience..wether youve unlocked more exercises or not just all around how did you feel? before, during, and afterward. Do you think it was worth the price/anticipation? i recieved mine today and felt absolutely fantastic before during and afterward despite the reviews. to each his own i guess right? ive already unlocked most of the exercises and it felt great not to have to go to a gym. im already busy as it is. the balance board is a 9.8 in my book!
Is my fitness coach for wii just for women? I was wondering if my fitness coach for the wii is just geared towards women? From the videos I have seen it just shows a female instructor and never mentions if they have a section of workouts for men. I own wii fit and want to get another work out game and this game has gotten solid reviews I just want to make sure they have work out programs for men. Thanks

Wii-Fit Questions? Review? Could you put a paragraph of an honest opinion on wii-fit. the types of things you do on it, how much it is, what does it do for your body, is it fun, do you like it etc. The personal with the most in-depth, honest and informative answer gets the 10 points. :)
Nintendo Wii Games Reviews Which Include Activity Level? Hi I love playing nintendo wii its awesome :) Im interested in getting some more games but I only like those games that give you a good work out and which convert your motions into on-screen action eg wii sports, wii fit. I dont really like the arthritis inducing remote shaking ones if Im playing a tennis game I want to have to make a proper tennis serve etc. Rather than asking for individual recommendations does anyone know of any sites that include an activity intensity rating as standard when reviewing wii games like they would a rating for playability or graphics. Something like 1/10 just uses buttons, 3/10 have to shake remote, 5/10 have to make motion but will never make you break sweat ( eg wii golf). 7/10 possible to work up a sweat if you try hard enough (wii tennis), 9/10 likely to cause the unfit and chubby to collapse if played for too long (eg wii boxing or wii fit free run). Cant believe games review sites dont provide this as standard when reviewing Wii games. Ive wasted alot of money buying some pretty crappy games due to this already :_( and dont want the hassle of rental. Any links or advice would be great. Thanks
Is Wii Fit worth my 90 bucks? It looks fun, but it seems kind of pricey. any reviews would be helpful. Thanks!!
Wii Fit... Thoughts and opinions ? Wondering whether to get one. Are they good fun and worth the money? Most of the reviews say yes, but just wondered what you guys thought. Thanks :) x
How come X-play doesn't talk about the Wii or Nintendo as much they do with the PS3, 360 and PC? This week they reviewed Wii music and Skate it which are lame boring games and when I watched X-play tonight and I saw a preview of Next weeks X-play and as a Wii owner I was disappointed because they talk about games for the 360 and PS3 and PC. What is the point of watching X-play Tuesday if the nominations for game of the year are 360,PS3 and PC titles. This year Nintendo sucks because this year the Wii did not have great games like the other consoles. Wii music, Wii fit, Skate It, Animal Crossing, Mario Super Sluggers, The Blob, Carnival Games are the most boring games, childish games and crappy titles ever on a game console. Wii remotes in happy meals is a new low The Wii needs more exciting games,Rated T and M games because the Wii needs exciting games than these crappy, lame and worthless games to be made ever.Seeing these Wii comercials every day and week are making the Wii so boring to play. I just wish Nintendo would stop making these games and make games for core gamers. I bought my Wii Janauary 28 2007 and I was excited because I saw greast games. The games I have are The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, Resident Evil 4, Super Smash Borthers Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy,Metroid Prime 3,Mario Kart and Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles and I'm looking foward to Madworld, The Conduit and The House of the Dead Overkill
Any good wii games that are sporty? Im looking for a wii game that includes sports. I have Wii Sports, and i was considering buying Deca Sports, but the reviews say its bad. I can't afford/find a wii fit right now, so im just looking for some good wii sporty games. and if you post an answer please give me a link that has some other reviews on the game. and i have wii play.....I love that game
is there any way i can pay less for the wii fit? i really really really really really really want it! ive read all the reviews and it really sounds like something i would benefit from. the problem is, its kinda out of my price range. My parents just spent a lot on something else for me, so i don't think they would buy it for me. i might have just enough, but i would be blowing all my christmas and birthday money. is there any way i can get a discount or anything?
does anyone have the wii my fitness coach? want to know if anyone has this game? the reviews look good, but would like personal reviews. clerks told us to get wii fit instead, but i think fitness coach looks just as good.....

I recently just put a 'Wii' and 'Wii fit' on lay-by, it was part of a package so I also got 'Wii sport' and 'Big beach sports' with them, but I'm not really a big fan of sport games there fun at first but I'll get bored of them after a while. I mainly got the package because of ‘Wii fit’. What are some good Wii games, which have gotten some good reviews? Also when is Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquillity coming out on Wii in Australia? And what do you guys think of the 'My Sim' game on Wii? I have it on DS and I didnt find it all that great.

So anyway i was wondering if anyone has bought this game and what they think? Also if anyone new were i could find a video of the game being played by someone not a trailler.? I really wanna get it but i have kinda been put off by all the reviews, im really sick of playing wii fit! thanks :D
Wii game for a fourteen-year-old girl? My birthday is next week and I am looking for another game for my Wii. I already have Wii fit and Wii sports, but I would like a more...game-ish one? I really liked the advert for Hannah Montana the Movie Wii game, but seeing as it has terrible reviews I changed my mind but I would like a game with that sort of theme.
Wii games and accesroies HELP? Im getting a wii due to the price drop.IM planning to get it in Christmas Here is what im planning to buy: Wii Wii fit Super Smash Bros Brawl Zelda Twilight Princess extra nunchuck extra wii mote --------------------------- ---------------------------- PLZ tell me what two other games thats fun for the family and 1 player fun too. and tell me 2 or 3 different key accesories for the wii besides wii points. Who can tel lme about the Wii game called "DeBlob"? ? How is it played...is it fun...is it just for young kids or can young adults enjoy it too? Thanks for any and all opinions/reviews in advance! Also, I'm open and would appreciate suggested games for the Wii that adults would like. (Me) I love Guitar Hero and I love my Wii Fit...I have Rock Band II on order for 12/31 delivery because I can't wait to play the drums! I also love target practice shooting type games. Thanks again.
What good games are out there for the wii? I've been playing on the 360 and my pc most of the time and my wii is getting lonely, 'cause I never played it since I beat all of my games... I been thinking about buying a new game for my Wii that is fun and can keep me playing it for awhile. If any of you guys have any recommendations for any good games please tell me and give me a good review of that game. I already own Brawl and Mario Kart, so don't recommend those... I also have to keep a tight $60 budget, so that means I can afford "Wii Fit."
Could someone please edit my speech? (topic: using the Nintendo Wii in Phys.ed. classes) Thanks!? Here is my speech. If you could post it after editing I would really appreciate it. It is supposed to be less than 5 min long, and I’m not sure what to get rid of. Sorry, it is REALLY bad! (Pretends to be bowling with Wii remote) YES! Strike! (Takes another shot) Aww... gutter ball! I just love my Nintendo Wii, but should it be replacing my phys. ed. classes at school? Yes, it is an insane idea, and five schools in Worcestershire, England are getting mixed reviews on their new program that incorporates the Nintendo Wii into their curriculum. The program may have won a national sports award, but several people disagree with the idea. Good afternoon (teachers name) and my fellow classmates. I am here today to speak to you about why the Nintendo Wii should not be incorporated in North America’s physical education curriculum. For those of you who are unaware of, or do not completely understand the concept of the Wii, it is basically a gaming system, like the GameCube, or the Xbox, but with a twist. Instead of controlling characters on the screen by merely pressing buttons on a controller, you actually have to move the remote, and the character on the screen will follow your movements. For example, in some games, the action required to make your character jump is to quickly flick the remote upwards. A game that is very popular on the Wii is Wii Sports. On it you can play five different sports: bowling, baseball, boxing, golfing, and tennis. You play these by mimicking the movements made while playing one of these sports in real life. Now, I am certain that several of you are pondering this question, “Why would this gaming system be part of a schools physical education program?” Good question! How exactly is a game, where all one is required to do is to quickly flip their hand upwards or to the side, going to give kids the amount of physical activity they need in a day? Guess what? ITS NOT! A study done by University students in Halifax shows that the Nintendo Wii fails as a decent form of cardiovascular exercise. The game playing is just not intense enough, and the workout you get is being compared to talking a walk through a park. Now, what is happening when these systems are being put into schools programs? Chelsea Intermediate School has purchased seven of these systems, twenty-eight controllers, and Wii Sports. The entire school has access to them, but gym classes take priority. So, depending on the size of classes in that school, some students may need to wait for a turn on the Wii, wasting time that could be spent doing effective physical activities. For example, if there is a large class of 35 students, 7 students will be sitting, being inactive, while they wait to play on the video game. Another issue is that each Wii system costs approximately $250, not including all the controllers. So, for a school to buy 28 Wii systems, without controllers or tax, it would cost about $7,000! That’s a lot of money for a school to spend on video games! Now, I would like to speak to you about a new system for the Wii coming to North America in late May, called Wii Fit. It is a program that uses a platform called the Wii Balance Board. This board can weigh the user, tell them where their centre of gravity is exactly, and what their body mass index is. This game has about 40 different activities, including step dancing, skiing, yoga, pushups, and other exercises. This program also includes a virtual personal trainer. On May 21st, it will be available in Canada for $89.99. Wii Fit is a much better option for a workout than Wii sports. It requires the whole body to do the activities, and is a lot more physical. Instead of just flicking your wrist, you may be required to squat down as low as you possibly can, without losing your balance, then jump up as fast as you can, to gain a good jump while playing skiing. Wii Fit actually affects your body and will give you a good workout. But does that mean it should be being used in schools? When kids have the option of running around outside in fresh air, or standing inside on a board, staring at a TV screen, which sounds better? When playing sports on the Wii, instead if with actual people, you don’t get the opportunity to learn lessons such as ones about working as a team. You don’t get to play with your friends, you don’t get to breath in fresh air, and you don’t get to feel the competitive aspect of sports. Some may argue that competitiveness ruins students gym class experience, but in small doses, it can be beneficial, and also teach some life lessons. I have one last small, but important, point that I would like to make. When Wii Fit was released in Japan, the Balance Board had a weight limit of 300 pounds. There are rumors that when Wii Fit is released in North America, the Board will have a higher weight limit, for heavier users here. This says several things, whether it is just a rumor or not. If North America’s population is more overweight and unfit than the rest of the world, than we shouldn’t be inside saying we are getting exercise by staring at a TV screen and flicking our wrists. Perhaps using the Wii for physical activities in the comfort of your own home isn’t such a bad idea, but it is a video game. And where do video games belong? At home! Not in schools! I hope today that I have convinced you that a phys ed. program incorporating the Nintendo Wii should not be coming to North America.
Could someone please help me edit my speech? (topic: using the nintendo wii in phys. ed. classes.)? Here is my speech. If you could post it after editing I would really appreciate it. It is supposed to be less than 5 min long, and I’m not sure what to get rid of. Sorry, it is REALLY bad! Also, please leave any suggestions you may have for me to improve it! Feel free to write right on the speech! (or you can just put comments at the end, anything works!! Thanks SOO MUCH!
In terms of the Wii Balance Board controls, which game is better, Skate It or Shaun White Snowboarding? Christmas has come and gone, and I found myself a lucky owner of Wii Fit on Christmas Day. However, the game alone has it's limits. After viewing some web pages, I narrowed my search down to two games I wanted to buy for use with my new accessory: Skate It and Shaun White Snowboarding: Road Trip. I read several reviews, and yet very few even mentioned the Wii Balance Board controls. I really didn't care about the graphics or story mode, I wanted to know two things: 1.) Is it fun? and 2.) Does the Wii Balance Board work well with this title? Can someone answer my questions and give me a recommendation?
Please recommend a few excellent games for Wii? I just bought a Wii, please recommend a few excellent games with really positive reviews, but no sports games (unless it's badminton, tennis or bowling), realistic military/war games, or Mario, Sonic, and the like. My favourite genres are music/rhythm (but already have DDR Hottest Party 1&2), C/J/KRPG, action (similar to Devil May Cry and Budokai), racing, or fitness/interaction (such as Wii Fit). The games do not have to be in English, Japanese is ok also as I understand it. Thank you! People, READ my question before answering!! Why are people still suggesting stuff like Mario and Medal of Honor when I CLEARLY indicated I do not want them??
Wii workout game: golds cardio, EA active, or my fitness coach? I just got a wii fit and have been using it to workout but am kinda sick of just the strength training and yoga. I want something that has more of a workout and cardio to lose some weight. I've narrowed it down to 3 that had good reviews: gold's gym cardio, EA sports active, and my fitness coach. Does anyone have these games and tell me which they prefer? Do you use the wii fit board with any? please help! :) Brian- I appreciate your input, yes I've tried all the games on wii fit, I'm looking for a more solid workout instead of just playing mini games. I think I may just go to blockbuster and rent each game then decide which I like the best.
I need reviews on the Wii Fit games.? Anyone lose weight? Suggestions? Comments?
Wii Fit, My Fitness Coach, or Gold Gym? I'm looking for something that is fun, but will keep me in shape for sports and maybe loose a few pounds. I would like something that would hold my interest for a while instead of my quiting after the first week. I'm not real skinny, but im not fat. I don't care that one may be more expensive then the other. I would like to see your review on these (like pros and cons). Thanks!!
Which Wii games do you suggest? Me and my boyfriend bought a wii about a week ago and so far we have... : the game that comes with the system,GT racing something(came with wheel),Wii fit, Rayman rabbids(one and two),another racing game, another game that came with an extra remote. Now,we LOVE the rabbid game and Mario Galaxy(rented it) and we were wondering if their are any games worth getting? He wants to see if CSI is good and Redsteel. I want Paper Mario and I wanted to see if Cooking Mamas was good(for daughter). Any reviews on those? Any suggestions would be appreciated! thanks in advance!! I liked mario party 8 a bit and the boyfriend hated it..(he didn't understand..). I like anything mario/yoshi
This is a question only for Wii hardcore gamers. Do you wish you could play these games right now? The Wii is for everyone not just for families an If it was there would not be Madworld for the Wii. Will there be a HD version of the Wii console in 2011? If it came out then games won't have to be stripped to fit on the Wii console. The Conduit, Dead Rising Chop til you drop, Madworld and No More Heroes 2 Desperate Struggle. Do you wish Nintendo would pay more attention to us instead of paying a lot of attention on casual family gamers? 360 and PS3 hardcore gamers are having the better year right now while the Wii hardcore gamers are not. Quantom of Solace, Brothers in Arms Double Time, TNA Impact were supposed o be great games for the Wii hardcore gamers bt they were not because developers spend all their time on the 360 and PS3 and they don't care about the Wii hardcore gamers. No one knows if the Wii versions of Tomb Raider Underworld, WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2009 and the new version of Need for Speed are going to be great Wii games because they are all multi platform games and multi platform games have never been successful and all of them gotten bad reviews while the 360 and PS3 versions have gotten better reviews.People talk about the 360 and PS3 and that either the 360 or PS3 will win the console wars but they don't mention the Wii console. The Wii has more sales than the 360 and PS3. Do you wish the Wii have more exclusive hardcore games and wrestling games?
