How many Wii controllers is the maximum on Rock Band 2 for the Wii?

On the back of the Rock Band 2 box for the Wii it shows a picture of a Wii Remote with a number 2 on it. This normally means that the maximum number of players for the game is 2. However, Rock Band's big feature is the fact that you can play with up to four people. Can you only play with up to 2 people on the Wii version? Is this a typo? Or is there some other explanation?

1. no you can play up to four players on rock band 2. there can only be one singer, 2 guitarists, and one drummer i donno why it says that on game i have rock band 2 and i love it so get it!
2. You should be able to play with 4 people. I have the first Rockband so you should be able to play with four people. There is 1singer, 1drummer,2guitarists. And its probably just a typo.
3. It's probably saying that you need 2 remotes to play with that set (1 for guitar and 1 for the mic). If you buy a seperate guitar- then you will need a third remote.
