How is the Wii fit age calculated and does it relate to any other recognised fitness measurement?
Does having a Wii fit age greater or less than your chronological age actually reflect general health and fitness. Is there an ideal age to aim for? Maria, I thought it was the other way round in that being older was bad. I'm in my forties my Wii fit age is in my thirties.

- I wouldn't take to to seriously im 23, in good shape and it said my wii fit age was 30!
- you should be aiming for your own age people under the age of 21 dont get accurate measurements as it was inteneded more for adults if your wii fit age is less than your real age it means your not as strong as you should be and vise versa hope this helps..
- Not a clue how it's calculated, and I would guess the lower your Wii Fit the better. FYI, I'm 44yo and my Wii Fit age is around 20.
- it's not a serious piece of exercise equipment so don't take it to heart it's probably extremely inaccurate
- Ideally, when you first received you Wii Fit age, it would be similar to your chronological age. If it shows you older, then you didn't have as much flexibility and control as the programmers have gauge your age to have. If it is younger, then your control is like that of someone of chronological younger. My goal is to get my Fit age at a steady younger baseline. Right now, I fluctuate from young to old, depending on if I skipped days on the balance board. I wouldn't say that it is an exact measurement, since you can become skilled in its test measures.
- I don't think so. I'm a little overweight and the wii said today I was 20 years old, my real age is 31. My boyfried is 38 and a personal trainer that works out everyday and his wii age was 54. It's just a fun game I wouldn't take their age seriously.
- you should aim for your actual age however the less the better. It is made from your actual age and balance test results...if you do really good on the balance tests they make you younger and bad older hope this helps
