How can I re-sync my wii remotes to my wii if I have the energizer battery pack?

We all know the red button in the wii remote is near the battery part. But If I take the battery pack out to press the red button the power shuts off the remote and I'm unable to sync it to the wii. Any suggestions?

1. You're not supposed to take the battery pack out. There should be a hole, so push the red button with a toothpick and repeat these steps: 1. push power on wii CONSOLE 2. open sd card cover and back of wiimote 3. Push red button near sd card slot first, then quickly put the toothpick in and hold red button on back of wiimote. leds on wiimote should flash I recently got a wii remote dual charger and one of the remotes wont work but the other one will. 2. when the battery pack is on there should be a hole through the back or a slight unmarked button its an extension to push that red button. Push it or you may need to use a paperclip in the hole.
