Can Nintendo WII support mods and if so will there ever be a SSBB mod?

1. Mod the Wii hardware all you like (or pretty much any other system) but don't expect stock games to run on it or expect to be able to take it online. I'm certain that there are mods for SSBB available online, but using them or adding them to your system may screw it up such that if you download a system update/use a new game in it you might break it. Nintendo is very particular about copyrights.
