I bought a Wii system and some video games. Don't like it. What to do? I was told I would be able to return the video game system and the controller, but the games were final sale. WII games and gear for exercise? I saw a blurb on TV about a WII game or something that is for fitness. It had something about hula hoop, and there seemed to be lots of other things. Not knowing anything at all about WII, I asked my husband for one for my birthday. I am diabetic, and too inactive. With the ad I'd seen in mind, I assumed that all the games for WII were ones that would get me moving. Husband bought me a console, that came with a sports game. Bowling, golf, boxing, tennis. All well and good. At least I had to get up and move with this one. I am not sports minded, so this isnt perfect. Also, he bought me a Mario game, which doesn't seem to need for me to exercise anything except my fingers on the controller. I'd wanted to move, not sit idly. Sales clerk said he knew nothing about the games. Such a disappointment. Please tell me what I need to go with my new WII that will make me move. Which games? Or what other equipment?

Wii vs. Other Consoles. Why do people refuse to see the truth right in front of their face? I have friends who constantly argue that PS3 or 360 is so much better than the Wii. And yet every single time I'm in a video game store or walmart, there are about 5 or 6 ps3 and 360 consoles for sale, and Wii's are completely sold out.

Do game systems ever go on sale? Or come down in price? Since Xbox, Game Cube and PS3 have been out for awhile (longer than Wii) have they ever cost less than when they first came out? Rock band Game for Wii? My question is this. I already bought Guitar Hero 3 for wii with a guitar, and I was wondering, are they gonna produce the game without the bundle? Are wii sales gonna drop? I see that most games that are announced to be released, are being mostly announced for the PS3 and Xbox 360. I know that this is because the wii is much behind them techically, and new games want to impress more than anything. The question is: are childish and motion-sensitive games and first party titles gonna save the wii for long, or are its sales gonna drop, and it'll be a short-lived hit, while the ps3, even though it isn't very popular right now, will live for a much longer time? Or is nintendo going to quickly release a newer console, with wii features, but much better tech stuff? Give me your thoughts.

What should I do with all my Guitar Hero III games? I went to KMart yesterday to get one of those digital photo key chains that they have on sale for $14.99. I looked in the Wii game display and I saw they had a whole bunch of Guitar Hero III games for the Wii. I was shocked because my son wants one and last week I went to every store and they were all sold out. So I bought 6 of them. I'm keeping one for my son and one of my good friends is buying one from me because she can't find one anywhere else. What should I do with the rest of them? My husband told me I should sell them on eBay, but are they selling on eBay?
Should i buy the nintendo WII or an Xbox 360? I really want to get a new console video game system because the last thing i had was a gamecube and they don't even sale games for those anymore. I really want to get somthing. I am an only child, and rarely have friends over so i was thinking that the WII may be hard because alot of games are more fun with multiplayer but i still want it. the other issue is that i really want guitar hero. although i did look it up and a new guitar hero game is coming out for the WII in june. xbox 360 for a Wii? Should I or will it be worth it if i buy a Wii and sale my 360 that i got on Nov. 07 so that way I can used the money and get me a Wii without spending more on another console. the 360 came with two free games and i already own halo 3 & call of duty 4. I spend $400.00 on the 360 including the 2yrs warrenty. I enjoy playing online games against or with others people then playing sole offline. As I see it now the PS3 will only have crap sales. Wii and 360 are going to own the market, finally, and if Square has a bit of sense left they will release Kingdom Hearts three onto the Wii. Not to mention the pluses from that endevour. Nintendo and Sega charatcers in Kingdom Hearts. Maybe even a Fable like aspect surrounding the crossroads. If the Keyblade war is MMO I' am elated. If its not I' am a bit disappointed but still very elated. I want to see Kingdom Hearts III break gaming history into millions of shards of find grain dust. What are your thoughts?
Tell me if this is a good deal: PS3 and Wii (solely based on sales value)? i'm trading my wii with 2extra wiimotes 3 nunchucks and a game. with PS3 wiht extra controller and 1 game (25 one). i know in new sales value, ps3 is higher. But in used sales value which is better? btw, im only interested in money. the quality of gaming is not an issue. thanks.
reselling a Wii... should I give the receipt? We have a Wii and have placed an add for it on craigslist in our area. We need to sale the Wii, and the money is needed for education expenses for this semester. Tons of people have asked if we have the receipt... of course we have it, because we purchased it- and that proves it's not a stolen unit. My question is, should we turn over those receipts for the game unit/accessories to the person buying it? It's past the date the store would consider taking the unit back, and I'm worried because of course, our name and last 4 of the credit card are on the receipts. What would you do?
Will the N64 Zelda Ocarina of Time game be available on the Wii shop channel? I recently got a Wii and was disappointed to not see it for sale in the Wii shop channel... Maybe it is there, I'm just not looking in the right spot? If it isn't there, has there been any news about when it will get there/if it will ever be available there?
Does anyone else think that the Wii is the clear front-runner for most fun console on the market today? I mean, seriously, can Microsoft and Sony keep up? The Wii's holiday lineup of games looks like they'll blow out everyone else. Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy figure to be huge hits, as well as Metroid Prime 3. The only game that will even come close to matching them in sales will probably be Halo 3, and that is the most overrated series ever created. Sony doesn't have any really worthwhile games available yet. Looks like Microsoft and Sony are playing the price for working on their graphics and not gameplay, like Nintendo.

Reasons why the wii have been better on sales than the ps3? My reasons: 1) Price - people dont want to pay 500 bucks for the ps3. 2) Playability - nintendo created another way to make game more fun. 3) Variety - The majority of the ps3 games are shooters (dont get me wrong I love shootes games) also nintendo always have atracted a lot of kids.

how often do you look at things for sale in store ads? the other day i was looking at stuff for sale in my local tesco store.and there was this wii for £320.5 games.but only been played with 3 times... dont you find that weird?i did.. but not gonna buy it..lol
What about the Wii? Ok for me the only real things that are popping out or system sellers for me are the Wii mote, Wii Sports and SSB: Brawl. I am not saying those are the only things but those are the only things that i know about without really looking into it . The Wii desperatly needs to get some more "system selling" games out there or even rumors of games cuase if know or thin that there is going to be a great game for the Wii then hey i might go pick a Wii up on my next run to EB or BestBuy (i should get indorsment deals from them). But for me i am not aware of those titles. It needs something that will make it sell when HALo 3 comes out because if Halo 3 is as good as it has the potential to be sales for any other system other than the Xbox 360. Because hypatheticly speaking if the best game ever made is out for Xbox 360 and Wii has nothing that can compare what are you going to buy??? Also Xbox has a great Internet gameing communtiy and system and i am not sure abot Wii?(plz inform me about this)

Do you think the Wii will crash and burn? The Wii started out with strong sales, but it looks like not a lot of games are coming out for it. And Wii owners will be missing out on high graphics games that will be on PS3 and 360. The few games that are ported from other systems, Far Cry and Call of Duty have been bad. and graphics were very low quality. I think the Wii will still be a distant third when all is done.

No more Game Boy Advance games? A few weeks ago I was at my local Game Stop (the Game Crazy's down here suck) and I noticed the lack of any new GBA games. I asked the sales dude if there was any new ones coming in, and I guess after looking, he told me that Nintendo was dropping the GBA for the DS and the Wii. Is this true?

Nothing can beat the Playstation 3. Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii suck? Did you see how big the Xbox 360 is? That thing is huge. The PS3 is nice and slick. Oh, and the PS3 has 1080i which Xbox 360 doesn't. Oh, and PS3 has a hard drive, which Xbox 360 doesn't. PS3 has all the games. All the best games are on it. Every game not on PS3 sucks. And the controller is the best because of the sixaxis. Wii copied them and the 360 controller has no movement functionality. Oh, and guess what, the PS3 is dominating the market with sales, just like the PSP is dominating the market with sales. PS3 has way more games than the 360. 360 sucks. We have Gundam Suit, we have Need for Speed Carbon, Metal Gear Solid, Resistance, Need for Speed, Motor Storm, Genji, GTA, FF, we have everything. PS3 has all the exclusives too. And not a single PS3 has broken because they are so well made. Also, every single PS1 and PS2 game can be played on it, and it enhances their graphics too. Xbox has kiddy games like Viva Pinhata. Its only good game is Gaylo. + Resistance outsold Tears of War
What games do you want under your Christmas tree? December 25th is coming closer and faster than the longetivity of store sale specials! I have been promised a Nintendo Wii for Christmas. Anyone else want something different for video games (only in this question)? PS3? Xbox 360?
Is the life of an innovative games console in jeopardy because of 'fanboys/girls' of rival companies? I've recently been given both a Nintendo Wii and a DS, which I loe. The innovative gameplay allows a new way to play and control games, which I find a far greater advance and innovation than the same old thing trumped out with shinier more impressive graphics, but before either machine was actually released the Sony/Microsoft fanboys were out in force as if the matter was a done deal. The DS selling statistics speak for themselves when matched against the PSPs relatively poor selling rates, and although not released here yet, the predicted sales rates for the PS3 look as if the machine will crash here when matched against the Wii, especially when you look at the sales figures in the US. My question is: Why do people judge technology before they have experienced it - and then, why do they seem to want to stick with a new generation of what they have rather than experiment with new forms of gameplay? Will this attitude ruin the industry or have Nintendo laid down the gauntlet?
